"50 ways to think like a child" writen by Susan Taylor Brown is a great example of what we could do for the Kids korner. It bring's children and adults together by taking them back to when they were young. It could help us think like the kids we intervew so we can relate to what they are saying. Most of the things that are listed in the "50 ways to think like a child" some of us would already do like Babysit or Eat an ice cream cone. Most of us that are up to the age 15 still have some kid still in them unless they are one of those stuck up people that think that eating an ice cream cone or finger panting is for little kids. Well what this site said was that every one needs a little bit of a child in them or they would go insane.

Journal Entry #2
I used the video “funny bloopers” because the video shows all the different angles that you use with a camera, far away shots, close up, and shots in between. In this video you don’t here many people talking throughout, but when it does it is not very clear but that is because there is a song playing during the video. The song that the picked was very appropriate for the mood of the video. But I believe that the video could have been named better, I find that it is more upsetting than funny.

The Kids Korner could use a lot of videos. Kids love watching themselves and I think that it would be more fun for both us and the students to make the videos. And when kids tell there own wild stories themselves then it sounds better, their sweet little kid voice and their expression on their face just makes the story and you just cant get that in just what we write.

What should we do to jazz up our school online newspaper?
I believe we should….
1. Put more color
2. Maybe some home made cartoon strips
3. Peoples choice, for music and have the songs on the web page for other people to check them out.
4. More pictures, of the dances, sports, drama, etc…
5. A better layout.
6. Links to educational games
7. Just make it more interesting.

Journal Entry Reflection Entry #1 – First Newspapers
The first newspaper is so much different that the newspaper we have today. The old newspaper had a different color, style, layout, and topics.
The color would have been more of a yellow color than the grayish color we have today. The style would have fit to what the people would have liked back than and same with today they have to use the style that people would enjoy. The layout would have fit their needs for that article and as everyone knows we have to do about the same thing with our newspaper today we have to use a layout that fits each article. And the topics they would have talked about different things, unlike today they talk about births, deaths, wedding vows, etc…
A big difference is that during that time they didn’t put pictures o9n the newspaper. I don’t know why but they didn’t, but today’s newspaper there are many different pictures in full color. But the biggest difference is that today you can find the newspaper on the internet, where back then the computer wasn’t even thought of yet.
